You appear to bo ignorant of the facts concerning the subscription in question, which whs raided by our client in the. hope that if £300 were subscribed two or three bods itt the hospital might bo endowed. As the sum realised is small, unit the Hospital Board in any event declined to .set any Ixklk apart: for any one section of the community. Mr. Fern, being unable to t\irry out the terms on which the money w.i* received, lias now, of course, no alternative but to return the money to the subscriber*.
