DUCKS OUT OF SEASON.

A SEAMAN FINED. [BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] CiiRiSTcnuRCH, Monday. At Lyttelton to-day a seaman named Solway, belonging to the Ripple, was fined 109 for selling, out of season, native ducks brought from the Chatham Islands. Sergeant Ryan stated that a very large number of ducks had been brought from the ChaUiums in the Ripple last trip, and had been disposea of in Lytteltoii. Solway had admitted that he had sold five pairs.
