The meetings were well attended. On two evenings -Mr- Griffiths lectured on " Scenes Anions African Savages," and the attendances on these evenings were the largest during the mission. The lecturer most graphically described the scenes of his travels and labours on the island 'if Fernando I'o, telling manv interesting stories of devotion and fidelity on the part of native Christiana. He also showed a number of quaint curios, and some good photographs, which very much interested the voting people. At the monthly Band of Hope meeting on Wednesday evening. Vr.
