AN UNDESIRABLE IMMIGRANT.
[bt TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] Drvtni.v, Wednesday. Charles Andersen, about 22 years of age, -who comes from Sydney, and who ha.s been in Dunedin about six months, pleaded guilty, at the Police Court yesterday, of ueing obscene language in the Farmers' Arms Hotel, and with unlawfully assaulting a married woman. The Magistrate (Mr. Widdowson) said he did not intend to deal leniently with the case. The sootier men from Sydney understood that they could not do what they liked in Dunedin the better. Accused would be sentenced to two months' imprisonment on each charge.
