TRAGEDY AT THE ALTAR.
«. MADMAN STABS A PftIEST. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. New York, May 26. A wealthy member of a Catholic Church at St. Louis, Missouri, became suddenly demented. He rushed to the altar and killed Father Luteley while Mass was being celebrated. A New York cable reporting a similar tragedy was published last month as follows: — "An Italian anarchist, while kneeling at the altar to receive the sacrament, in a church at Denver, shot and killed Father Heinrichs, .the officiating priest."
