The Union Company's steamer Talune, which has been barbound fit West port for several days, managed to get out safely yesterday morning. The steamer is due at Auckland to-morrow and will be despatched for Fiji at 10 o'clock the same night. \ ■ . THE AUSTRALIAN MAIL LINE. The steamier Aeon left last evening for Island ports l San Francisco, and Seattle. The steamer Inveric, which arrived from Sail Francisco on Sunday, yvi'l leave for Sydney this morning. THE AFRICAN MONARCH. The United States and' Australian Company's steamer African. Monarch, under the command of Captain Robertson, arrived from New York, Capetown, and Australian ports yesterday afternoon and berthed at the Qneerirstrect Wharf. The steamer left New York on February 29, Cape-town-on March 31, and Melbourne on April 30. and reached Sydney on' May 2, discharging cargo at each port of call. Resumed the voyage to Auckland on May 5 and arrived as above. Experienced fine \\eather throughout the voyage. On discharge of her cargo of general merchandise at this port the stea/mi-'r leaves for Wellington and the tlouth. THE MIMIRO. The Tyser linei Mimito, from New York and Australia, is expected' to arrive at Auckland today. THE RIMU. The Northern Company's steamer Ilimu arrived from Newcastle at an early hour this morning. ' THE BLUE ANCHOR LINE. A steady advance in convenience and comfort is being made by Lund's Blue Anchor Line of steamers, which carry passengers and freight between. London, Capetown, Natal, and Australia. with transhipment to New Zealand. It is now notified that of these popular ships the Geelong, the Commonwealth, and the new steamer Waratnh will in future call. Plymouth on the Homeward passage. 1 THE MOANA. The departure of the Union Company's steamer Moana, for East Coast, and Southern, ports, from the Itobson-street Wharf, has been postponed until 6 o'clock this evening. ' THE HENLEY. The steamer Henley is now about due at Auckland from Singapore with a cargo of superphosphates for this port and the South. Messrs. A.
