Tub three-year-old child of Mr. Walter Thomson, ,--now«i<jent, at ({enuaum, N.8.W., whilst, playing on the floor on April 3, picked up .-. thjw-inch'Wil, which it put in its month ami swallowed. Until Monday the child appeared to he- well,, when it was seize*! with severe jwins. The parents have, now taken it to a surgeou lor treatment.
