On Good Friday, moreover, much heavier booking than usual took place by all trains, whilst there was a, crea-fc influx from the Wa.ikato. The express" from the latter district m Fridav evening brought down about 500 passengers. The Good Friday traffic in the Thames district was also very heavy in all directions. On Saturday the ordinary and extra expresses (both up and down) were despatched with very full complements of passengers.
