STRIKERS IN STATE WORKS. EMPLOYERS' ASSOCIATION PROTEST. " [BY TELEGRAPH. — TRESS ASSOCIATION.] Oamaru, Friday. Mr. T. PRIOR, secretary to the Employers' Association, telegraphed to the Hon. J. A. Millar on Wednesday protesting against the omployment of some of tho Blackball strikers on Government works, to which Mr. Millar replied that ho had made inquiries, and had found that the men employed had been against the strike. They were married men, and the agent had put them on unknown to the Department. Instructions had been issued that none of the strikers or those who had been employed about the mine were to be employed on Government -works.
