MOTOR-CAR ACCIDENT

SEVEN PERSONS INJURED. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] Marton, Tuesday. A serious accident occurred to Mr. Lynn McKelvie's motor car, which contained seven occupants, while proceeding home from the Bulls sale yesterday afternoon. Some distance beyond the Parewanui school a horse, jumping over a fence, came in collision with the car, and capsized it, the whole of the occupants being more or less severely injured. An ambulance was sent for, and two of the sufferers were taken to the Palmerstoo Hospital, the others being attended to on the snot. Among the occupants, besides Mr. McKelvie, were Messrs. Anion (Z), J. Sim, Atkinson, and two others. Mr. Sam Anion had his thigh broken, Mr. Bert Anion sustaining a broken ankle. The others escaped more lightly. The car was "badly* injured, and the horse was killed.
