Notwithstanding the continuous displays by the geysers at Whakarewarewa during the past six months, great activityis still shown, and with the exception of Pohutu geyser, sonic magnificent eruptions have taken place (says the Rotor uu Times). The Cauldron has been exceedingly active for the last three days, and it is expected that Pohutu geyser will erupt shortly, as this geyser has not played for nearly a fortnight
