THE FIJI HURRICANE.

Reports from country districts show that; very few places escaped the hurricane, although the damage done does not seem to have been as severe as expected. The steamer Largo Law, which was lying off Lautoka, was driven aground, but has since been refloated. ' v * . Two brothers named O'Dowd, who were crossing a river. during the height, of the s hurricane, were drowned.
