His Excellency the Governor (Lord Plunket) will perform the ceremony of laying the foundation-stone of the new bridge over Cemetery Gully at three p.m. to-day, the event" taking place at the Symondsstreet end.
To-morrow His Excellency, accompanied by Lady Plunket, will visit St. Stephen's Maori School for Boys and the Queen Victoria School for Maori Girls.
