FATAL CAS EXPLOSION.

The explosion of an acetylene gas generator at Mounta. (South .Australia) last week resulted in lie death of Thomas Penrose, 16 years old. He and a companion, flutter, Jit the gas at the outlet of a pipe on the top, of the generator, and Penrose, in attempting to blow the flame out, blew it down into the generator, arid received the full force of the explosion in the face, death resulting in a few hours afterwards. His companion was knocked down and received a broken arm.
