LAND SALE AT NORMANBY.

HIGH PRICES REALISED. [BY TELEGRAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Hawera, Monday. The sale of the Hirstland Estate, at Norman by, was highly succesful on Saturday. Some 1500 acres were sold, in lots of 34 to 80 acres, and brought £48,000, an average of £34 10s per aire. The land is practically unimproved, and the prices are regarded as very high, but it is remarkable that all the buyers are men who have lived for years in the district and • thoroughly understand values.
