LATE LORD LINLITHGOW.

A QUIET FUNERAL.

(Received March 6, 11.28 p.m. London, March 6. The Marquis of Linlithgow was buried yesterday in the mausoleum of Hopetoun House, the funeral being of a very simple character, in accordance with his express wish.

The Revs. .Norman McLeod and Wallace conducted the service in the ballroom.

There were about 500 present, including representatives of the Commonwealth and the Agents-General of the several States.
