Tenders. rpENDERS FOR SERVICE TO NIUE 1 ISLAND. TENDERS are invited for a Service by Sailing Vessel between Auckland and Niue Island. TENDERS to provide alternately for— (a) Six direct trips per annum from Auckland to Niue, and return direct to Auckland. (b) Five trips per annum from Auckland to Niue, three of which shall be direct to Niue and return to Auckland, and two from Auckland to Niue via Tonga, or Auckland to Niue and return to Auckland via Tonga, at the option of the Contractor. (c) Four trips per annum from Auckland to Niue, two of which shall be direct to Niue and return direct to Auckland, and two direct to Niue and return to Auckland via Tonga at the option of the Contractor. Vessel to be not less than 80 tons net register, preferably with auxiliary oil engine, and to have accommodation for not less than four cabin passengers. Contract to be for one or two years, at the option of the Minister in charge of the Cook and other Islands Administration. Full conditions of service may be seen at the office of the Superintendent of Mercantile Marine at Auckland and at the office of the undersigned at Wellington. Tenders, accompanied by a deposit equal to 10 per cent, of the amount of the tender, will be received by the undersigned up to and including the 21j3t day of March. 1908.
