He showed no dash. He had always felt too sure, and had appraised Webb too cheaply. Mr. FogweJl sj>eaks highly of the Wanganui course. TRESIDDER IN REPLY. [BY TELEGRAPH. CO-RESPONDENT.] Ot.sBOBNEj Wednesday. Dick Tresidder, the New South Wales oarsman, who arrived in Gisborne this morning, on a visit, stated that it was not his intention to go further north. Questioned regarding Fog well's statement that he lacked dash. Tresidder said: " Most decidedly not. Ido not see how anyone can say that. As a matter of fact I never rowed a race in my life with more dash. I wafc out on the water at my best, rowed my best, and was fairly and squarely beaten by, Webb."- ,
