Berlin, March l. Herr Dernburg (German Colonial Director), speaking last night in the Reichstag, slated that during the recent troubles in East Africa it had been necessary to seize all the available food supplies either to feed the German forces or to weaken the enemy.

As the result of this action, he added, 75,000 natives had been starved to death.
