RIFLE-SHOOTING.
THE CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. [BY TELEGRAPH.-^ jjpess association.] TKENTHAM RIFLE RANGE, Wednesday. Arrangements are completed for tin New Zealand Defence Forces Bine Association's meeting to-morrow. Five .hundred entries have been received, among them being McCalley and Edwards, of Australia. A large number of competitors are already on the ground, and it is expected that the majority will stay in camp. Many improvements have been made in all directions" for the comfort of -competitors. About 200 .were at practice to"day, despite heavy rain. The weather is now clearing. The meeting ' starts tomorrow with volunteers' and rifle clubs matches, after which the first range of the Auckland match, Jot. th» belt, will take place. £"\®^>.r m IT*
