Some time ago, Mr. Akburst, the son of a.-well-known Melbourne resident, who was employed as accountant to a firm of solicitors in Maryborough, mysteriously disappeared, but lias *incc been discovered in Deniliquin (X.S.W.). His brother-in-law says i.e is .mentally affected, being under the belief that '.ie has wronged his employers, though his accounts were quite, correct. His father is taking tslep« to have him placed under proper protection^
