MOTORING.
The usual run of tho members of the Auckland Automobile Association will bo held this afternoon, at Cornwall Park, where afternoon tea will be dispensed. It is understood that the A.A.A. intend taking a test case against a local body in tlio country, which has passed a bye-law prohibiting motor-cars from using the roads under its supervision. A 10-12h.p. Darracq was landed during tho week. Several Darracqs took part in tho Christ-ehurcb-Dunedin trial. Mr. Atkinson's 15 h.-p. Darracq won the first prize, with full points in the class for cars of 12 horse-power and o ver n In fc ' lo smaller class Mrs. Bockaert's 8 10 horse-power two-cylinder Darracq car came through without having a spanner or tool used all the way, and onlv lost points through running short of petrol. This car secured second prize in this class, and Mrs. Boekaert also secured tho lady's prize.
