BROOKES WINS THE SINGLES.

London, July 4. At the tennis tournament, in the final of the singles championship, Norman Brookes (Victoria) beat Gore 6—4, 6—2, 6—2.
In the semi-final of the doubles championship Brookes (Victoria) and Wilding (New Zealand) beat Ritchie and Casdagli three sets to love.
