EXPORT OF MINERALS.
DECREASE FOR THE FIVE MONTHS. [by telegraph.—press association.] Wellington, Tuesday. Since the beginning of the year 199,7730z of gold, valued at £800,489, have been exported from New Zealand, .. or 16,7JJfZ, valued at £74,389, less than for the first five months of last year. The export of gold last month was 65,6850z, valued at £224,463, as compared with 42,2030z, of the value of £171,065, in the corresponding month of last year. . The quantity of silver exported last month was 265,4500z, valued at £27,002.
