[fKOU, our own COKRESPOXDEOT.y The annual mooting of the Cambridge * branch of the Waikato Farmers' Club was hold on Monday evening, Mr. Martin Butler (president) occupying . the chair. The fol- ; lowing officers were elected for the ensuingyear:—President, Mr. M. Butler (re-elect-ed) vice-president, ; Mr. Ilobl. Fisher; sec- J retary, Mr.: E. Veale. Regret was expressed at the departure from the; district of the '. vice-president (Mr. C. Potts), The annual subscription was raised from 5s to" 10s, Owing to there being a deficiency'of £31. The president .gave notice of motion, "That , quarterly meetings of the club bo held, with monthly meetings of a working executive." It was decided that the annual social ■ be held either in July or August. Discussion ensued on the- question of agricultural education,. and it was resolved to send a; . letter to the Auckland Education Board ' urging the necessity for the establishment - of an agricultural college in the Cambridge" district. .■■;■ At a meeting of the Cambridge West Do- ' main Board on Friday (Mr. R. Fisher presiding) it was- decided to consider on % future occasion several suggestions made by Mr. Keoley for improving the recreation reserve. The chairman said he estimated the cost of installing windmill pumps on tho various sections (provided all the tenants ■ would agree to a revision of tho rents) at ; £300. The- tenants are to be consulted oa this matter. ' . ;,; „ . '
