ZOLA'S REMAINS.

The French Cabinet has decided to remove the remains of the late Emile Zola, the novelist, from the grave where they now lie to the Pantheon, in July. . . . " The Pantheon was originally a. church, erected in honour of the ■ patron saint of Paris, but during the:, great ; revolution it) was converted into a receptacle of the illustrious dead. Mirabeau was its first occupant. Subsequently the church was appropriated; for other uses, but under, the Third Republic it again became a resting place for the remains of eminent Frenchmen. -.
