NEW CHANNEL AT NELSON.
[BY telegraph.—press association.] Nelson, Monday. At the Harbour Board's meeting to-day, the pilot reported that the work of cutting the new channel had now so far proceeded that vessels of the Gothic class could be brought into the harbour without difficulty.
