SENSATIONAL RUNAWAY.
DRAG CAPSIZES AT TIMARU. SEVERAL PERSONS INJURED. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] r ' Timaru, Friday. A KOtrß-iN-ii.vNi> drag, with 16 people going to a country concert, was smashed up before getting out of town to-night. The reins are supposed to have become fouled, and the driver lost control of the team, which turned round and bolted down Beverley Hill, and turning a sharp comer on the way to town capsized the vehicle. . ~ Miss Foley, of Dunedin, sustained a fractured skull, and the driver, Johnson, was very much bruised. Miss O'Connor was also badly braised, and her brother had 3Jj«in of a hatpin extracted from him. ; The whole party was much shaken.
