DEFENDED CASES.
; In the case in wnich Colin Peace, plumber, for whom Sir. McGregor appear-1 ed, sued Thomas McElroy, contractor, for 16s, as being the price of a new window frame, the plaintiff was nonsuited. M'r. Pilkington appeared for the defendant. J. A. Anderson claimed from Neil Johnston the sum of £1 16s 3d, wages alleged to be due to the plaintiff. After hearing the evidence, Mr. R. W. Dyer, S.M., before whom the case was heard, gave Judgment for the plaintiff for 15s, and costs 6s.
