Sadler, Professorj, of History and Administration of , Education at Manchester Univer-j, sity, suggests in the Morning Post the forming of an Imperial Bureau of Education at an annual cost oil £10,000. The bureau should have a comprehensive technical library and; publish a carefully edited year-book. He proposes that- the staff of the. bureau should include a representative of each of the colonies, the salary to be paid by the colony. It should constitute a department of the secretariate resolved upon at the i Imperial Conference when this sec-! retariate shall have become independent of the Colonial Office. Mr. Hogben (New Zealand) has arranged with the Conference to exhibit photographs of New Zealand school life. . - The Conference discussed yesterday the possibility of closer uniformity in curricula;, nomenclature, and methods, arid in presenting official educational statistics.
