Wellington, Wednesday. The Arbitration Court was engaged to-day in hearing the dispute filed by the Aeratedwater Workers". The demands of the'men were for a 45-hour week, wages from £2 '8s to £3 10s, and for youths from 10s to 255, with the usual holidays and overtime | allowances. ..."...
The employers' counter-proposals ware for a 48-hour week, daily weges from 5s to 9s, with lower overtime rates than the men demanded. The hearing is proceeding. ■
