COURSING.
THE North New Zealand Coursing; Club's May; V meeting was continued and concluded at -*, Otahuhu yesterday. About 400 persons were- % present at the club's plumpton, and they ■-".*' were treated to some fine coursing. Several* bookmakers were present and considerablß speculation was indulged in. The meeting parsed off without a. hitch, and the general arrangements reflected credit on the honorary secretary, Mr. C. R. Tripper. Mr. F. W. Coombe3, as judge, and Mr. L. Brenan. slipper, gave satisfaction. The following are the results of She various events: -' RECOVERY STAKES.-First dog, £10; runner-up, £3. First round: Gavotte beat Tc Aroha Lass; Bluefire beat Pearlie: Robin Adair beat Tom Mack; Slim Jim, a'bye. ■:-* • : Second round: Garotte beat Bluefire; "Robin Adair beat Slim Jim.
