AUCKLAND AREAS TO ,BE * . A OPENED.

WAIMAXA AND OTHER * ESTATES. At tbo meeting of the Auckland Land s Board yesterday it .was decided to throw open for settlement several areas of land |in the Auckland district. | The Waimana Estate (Bay of Plenty), tho most important, of the areas, was dealt with at the meeting. It was decided that the estate be classified as follows, and opened for application under the Land for Scttleiment Acts and regulations:—Group "A," dairy farms (first-class land), sections 3,8, 9, 11, 14, 15, and 16, comprising BS4 acres 2 roods 15 perches., Group " B," ordinary !farms (second-class laud), sections 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 13, 19, 20, and 21, comprising 3465 j acres 3 roods 15 perches. Group C," village allotments, lots 22 to 33 (inclusive), lots 35, 37, and 3, 4 acres 1 rood. A great deal of this land is suitable for dairying, i It was resolved that the Teasdale eettlejment, near To Awamutu, be classified as ] follows, and opened for application under the Land for Settlement Act and regulations:—4j!roup "A. township lots: Lot? 11 to 20; lots 23, 24, 34, to 37; lots 40 to 44, 46 to 51, 59 to 64.
