: OPERA-HOUSE. . Fuller's Vaudeville Company continues to draw largo houses. Last night tho-pro-gramme was well received, nearly ©very item being encored.; Nelly Power and Doris Baker are two good sorios. Mr. George : jUerton sings two cockney ditties—'.'The Jilted London Shoeblack," and "Wait Till tho Work Comes Round." Mr. Ted Stagpoolo gets in a lot of- acrobatio tricks while singing "Our New Slavey." "Beck,"-this lightning sketch artist, was again successful in painting two oil paintings upside down in less than five minutes. Lucy Lavinia, Morton; and Maiitoh, Bob Lloyd t Stewart, Bain and McKenzle, Val. Newton, Any Blackie, and the Lewis Sisters also appeal' I ed. Some fine biograph films were shown, i I ORGAN RECITAL AT ST. BENEDICT'!). j There was a large attendance ,at St. Benediet's Church last evening, when Mr. J. Maughan Barnetfc gave another organ,recital. The proceeds go in aid of the organ fund. ST. MARK'S PARISH GUILD SOCIAL. , A social under the auspices of St. Mark's Parish Guild was held in St. Mark's Hall, Rerauera, last evening. There was a good attendance. The evening was devoted to a " song title" and■-.''. silhouette " guessing competitions, which aroused keen interest. , "During the evening several musical sek«' tions were "given. , , ~ ,; f BIRKENHEAD-NORTHCOTB MUSICAL SOCIETY. ' <■ The third concort in connection with the Birkenhead and Northcote Musical Society was held in the Parish Hall, Northcote, l«t' ■ night.
