, Invercargill, ; Tuesday. A jiKETixG of flaxmillers and merchants was held to-day the purpose of considering the new regulations relating to grading 'arid export. The greater number of the 25 regulations were not seriously objected to, but others ' were considered prejudicial to the interests of the industry. Several resolutions were carried, the principal of which were t othe effect that the export of condemned fibre be allowed, procipal of which were to the effect that it has been condemned, and that the Government
to appoint a. chief grader.
It was also decided to ask for a conference with; the Minister and Secretary for Agriculture. ' ,*'■';•":' ':.'-
