In the Arbitration Court, Mrs. Annie Hall, widow, aged 63, of Ponsonby, Auckland, claimed £400 ■ compensation in account of the death of her son,: John Paxton Hall, aged 25, a \ carpenter, who died' here from injuries received by a fall from scaffolding in October "last. It was" stated that deceased had been one of ' the main supports of his mother. " -Counsel for respondents said; there was no dispute as. to liability, but the parties Had been unable to, agree -as to ' the amount of damages.
