LOST AT SEA.

The schooner Morning Light, which arrived at Lyttelton i from Collingwood yesterday, after .stormy passage .■ of 17 days,, lost a man overboard when 45 miles north-north-east ■of Lyttelton Heads. The schooner shipped a heavy sea. over the pdrt side at about eleven p.m. on Saturday, and:,the man was carried off.
A lifebuoy, with lights attached, • was thrown to him, and he was seen about 40ft astern \ swimming for the buoy. .A heavy sea; struck him, and he sank. .-, The man shipped as Charles Roberts, but it is stated that his name is Harold Rolfe, formerly of H.M.s. Prometheus. ; '
