Will you allow rue, as one of the thousands of loyal and patriotic : {citizens who in all probability for one reason * lor another will not bo there, to enter & r jprotest against tlx* insult levelled at ti« by [implication in the words '"and so will all loyal 'citizen?." It seems to me mo?t extraordinary fand improper that our military authorities /should allow the publication of such an adjvertiseinent in connection with a function ! which is prc.mritalify being organised under' jtheir direction, or at least with their saneftion and approval.
