PLAGUE IS INDIA.
ENORMOUS MORTALITY.

Calcutta, May 19. The death roll in India from plague for six weeks, is 450,892. These figures include 286,777 cases in the Punjab.
A report received in April stated that in one week there had been 49,743 ca-sea reported, and of these 41,667 had proved fatal.
