A FURTHER ADVANCE.' /_, [by . telegraph.—press -association.] • v "' ' " 1 Dunedin, Thursday.* The Otago Daily Times states ■that'- the directors of the New Zealand, Flourmillers' Association at their monthly meeting, held in Chris'tchurch, decided to advance the price of flour by another 10s per ton, making a. total rise" of £1 per ton within: a Week. . ../: \.; -V'-:;. ■-■■'■■ 'r- '" The reason for this rise is obviously an advance in the price of flour ia the Commonwealth, thus making importations from that source prohibitive. It has been a matter of common knowledge that the possibility of the importation of Australian flour has been a factor militating against any advance in . the New Zealand commodity, despite 'the gradual hardening of the wheat market. - •.-. Now, however, that, wheat is hardening l all over the world an advance has been established in Australia, and: should the excitement continue the outlook is for higher prices for flour and bread throughout; the winter. - ■:. - *\ - «
