[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] * Wellington-, Thursday/' ; There were 520 applicants for a section of 201 acres on the Mangahao River, 3j miles from Hukanui, recently thrown open for. selection ■; by the Wellington Land Board.; The successful applicant' at the ballot, to-day was Mrs. Elizabeth Fredrickson, who elected to take up the land under occupation with '.'.'right of purchase system. The annual rental is 3s an acre.
