HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD .

A MEETING of the Auckland Hospital and Charitable J Aid Board was held yesterday •afternoon, • the chairman , (Mr. L. J. Bagnall) presiding. There were also present, .Messrs J. Fitt, J. Jenkin, W. E. Bioomfield, J. G. Rutherford, 0. Grey, A. Bruce, A. Sturges, and G. Knight. ' .

The secretary of the Board (Mr. H. N. Garland) ■ reported that j the '; Chinese .; residents of the city, had contributed £24 16s 6d towards the hospital funds.
