CoitoMANDKL, Monday. liik quarterly meeting of the Coromandel Methodist Church was held on Friday last, the liov. M. J. Evans in the chair. Mr. Cleave, circuit steward, read the btJancesheet for the past quarter, which showed a small credit balance. A special vote of thanks was accorded to Mr. Evans and Mr. Cleave for their exert ions in paying" off during the year the circuit debt of over £60. Ihe reports from the upper and lower township, lvuaotunu and Tairua Sunday-schools, 016 very satisfactory, as was also the work done by the senior and junior voting people's Endeavour societies'. Mr. Evans' term in this district having expired, the meeting wished him every success in his new circuit. Mr. J. Martin is the new minister.
