The following telegram was received bv Mr. Thornton from Mr A. T. N'gata, M.H.R., at the To Ante Conference this J morning:—"l wish .he conference every j success. I think the outlook on native la nil I matters hopeful in certain direction's wherej ever natives evince an honest desire to I utilise their land.-, so this association must I evince more and more energy, and the sys- ; tem of education must, be brought to confirm and assist.
