Mason followed, and was bowled in playing back to Howden, while Kallender with his score at 21 was nicely caught in the long field by Philson. D. Hay and Lawry were quickly disposed of, and E. Clayton then saw another 40 added with Sloman for the seventh wicket. Clayton was bowled by Bush when 32 after having played an excellent innings. Haddon scored his runs all round the wicket. Huss-ey got to 19, and Prime, who replaced Haddon, made 27.
