MISSING BRIDEGROOM.

VANISHES A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING. A mystery still to be unravelled surrounds the disappearance from Birmingham of a well-connected young man a few days before the date of his marriage. He is stated to have had no known troubles, his finances were good, and he always showed the greatest affection for his sweetheart. The circumstances of his disappearance were told by several of lus relatives and friends to a Daily Mail representative. Mr. Cecil Horace Beech Marsh, twenty-four years of age, has for some time acted as manager of the Birmingham branch of a London firm. He was in receipt of a good salary, and did not live up to his income. Some time ago he became engaged to a young lady of good position in Birmingham, the 'daughter of intimate friends of his family, and the marriage was fixed for December 15. On December 6 Mr. Marsh saw his sweetheart and parted from her on l the most friendly terms, promising to see her again on the following evening. The next day, after spending the morning at his office, he went to Oltou (Warwickshire), to lunch with an aunt, returning afterwards to hie office, which he left about seven p.m. From that moment nothing has been seen or heard of him. In the afternoon of that clay his sweetheart received a short note regretting that he could not see her that evening, but saying that he would see her on Saturday. He did not return to his apartments at Edgba&ton, but his landlady concluded that he might be stopping the night with 6ome friends. On Saturday, however, as he did not appear, his sweetheart's relations made inquiries, and, realising that something unusual had occurred, communicated with the police. The latter, after making searching inquiries all over the country, have been unable to find any clue. The missing man is described as being five feet six inches in height, with brown eyes and light brown, curly hair. He is cleanshaven, and invariably well-dressed, as a ride in black or dark clothes. He is afflicted with a slight, lamsaejsa of the left leg.. '
