THAW MURDER TRIAL.

EVIDENCE OF MRS. THAW,, WHITE'S ATTENTIONS TO HER. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. (Received February 10, 4.55 p.m.) New York, February 9. The trial of Harry Thaw for the murder of Stanford White in July last was continued yesterday and the examination of Mrs. Thaw was resumed. She said that Stanford White plotted with a notorious lawyer named Abe Hummell to induce her to break off with Thaw by a lawsuit for breach of promise. Hummell, she said, told her about many acts of misconduct by Thaw and she partly believed him. She had allowed White to pay for her education. After her marriage White made many attempts to renew the old relations with her. Documentary evidence was produced to show that Thaw was wildly incensed and was like a maniac for months preceding the, tragedy.
