Calcutta, January 28. The Ameer of Afghanistan took part in a great Mahommedan service at the principal mosque in Delhi yebterday.

There was an immense attendance of Mahommedans, and they gave the Ameer a tremendous ovation.

During the service the Ameer sacrificed 100 sheep.

For splendour and enthusiasm the scene at the mosque has not been equalled since the days of the Mogul Emperors.
