THE SAN FRANCISCE MAIL.

Mn. V. A. Si'iiori,. the local manager of the Oceanic Steamship Company, has received cable advices staling that the mail steamer Sonoma, owing to docking and overhaul at Sydney, will not leave that port for Auckland until Tuesday next, our day late. The steamer's departure from Auckland for Island ports and San Francisco has been fixed for six p.m. tin-Saturday next. The mail steamer Sierra, which left Auckland at half-past four a.m. on January 12, arrived at Honolulu at ten a.m. on Wednesday last, well up to contract time. The steamer is due at San Francisco on Monday next.
