HOUSE BURNED AND SAWMILL THREATENED. [BY TELEGRAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday. Extensive bush fires are raging in the Pukehinau district. Messrs. Gardner and Yeoman's sawmill was only saved by great efforts on the part of the mill hands. Mr. Banker, who was assisting to save the mill, had his house burned, and will be a heavy loser, as he was uninsured. Rain stopped tin* spread of the fire.
